A 504 Plan provides accommodations (like extra time on tests or preferential seating) to help a child access the general curriculum. An IEP (Individualized Education Program) offers more comprehensive support, including specialized instruction and measurable goals. Both are legally protected under federal law. We help families determine which plan best fits their child's needs.
If your child has a diagnosed disability—such as ADHD, autism, a learning disability, or an emotional/behavioral condition—they may qualify. The school district conducts evaluations, but you can also request an independent evaluation. We guide families through the entire referral and evaluation process so nothing is overlooked.
An ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meeting is the Texas term for the IEP meeting. The team—including parents, teachers, specialists, and an administrator—reviews your child's evaluations, sets goals, and decides on services and accommodations. We can attend these meetings with you as your advocate to ensure your child's needs are clearly represented.
Session fees vary depending on service type. We accept several major insurance plans and also offer a sliding-scale fee for families who qualify. Contact us for a detailed breakdown.
ADHD coaching focuses on practical, day-to-day strategies: building routines, managing time, improving organization, and strengthening executive function skills. Unlike therapy, which often explores emotions and past experiences, coaching is action-oriented and forward-looking. It's a great complement to therapy or medication.
We work with children as young as 6, adapting our approach to be play-based and interactive for younger kids. For teens, coaching centers on independence, self-advocacy, and preparing for life after high school. Parents can also receive coaching to better support their child at home.
It means we see ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other neurological differences as natural variations—not deficits. Our approach focuses on building on your child's strengths, developing practical skills, and creating environments where they can thrive, rather than trying to 'fix' them.
Yes! All of our coaching, parent support, and advocacy preparation sessions are available virtually, so families across the Dallas–Fort Worth area (and beyond) can access our services from home.
We offer flexible pricing with individual session rates and bundled packages. Group workshops use a sliding-scale fee structure, and scholarships are available for families who need them. Contact us for a free consultation to discuss which option works best for your family.
